Terms & Conditions of Hire
- The facility to be left in the condition in which it was found. All rubbish to be taken away from the premises;
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to make adequate arrangements for the safe evacuation of any disabled person(s) attending the event;
- Any activity in the hall should not cause any persons in the neighbourhood to be unreasonably disturbed and that at the end of the event attendees will leave the area quickly and quietly;
- Access to the stage is not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made with a member of the Village Hall Committee;
- Payment in full is required before this booking can be accepted, and a separate £20 refundable deposit is required to cover the cost of any loss/damage or cleaning of the premises as a result of this hiring;
- Personal electrical equipment used will have the necessary PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certification;
- Hirers must acquaint themselves with the fire safety procedures and emergency exits. If the fire alarm sounds, please leave the building via the emergency exits. Do not return to the building, wait outside the railway station and ring 999;
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to obtain any necessary alcohol license. No sale of alcohol is permitted without a license being in place. Under 18’s must NOT purchase or consume alcohol. Please provide contact details of the person who will be responsible for running the bar.

Alcohol should not be consumed/supplied/sold to or by any person known to be drunk (current fine max £1000)
Cancellation fee = 50% of the booking fee if less than 7 days notice given
